This was a quick one. I had planned to visit Fingal in Victoria, since Fingal in New South Wales is really Fingal Heads or Fingal Bay. Though according to Geoscience Australia, Fingal exists in this area too. My idea was to catch two birds with one stone, and snatch the FarTreasureHunt treasure in the Numinbah Forrest Reserve and this IBEM town.
This location (Fingal, NSW) does not fit into any other (of my planned and unplanned) trips, and I usually avoid the M1 and costal roads altogether. These are just too busy and boring for relaxing FarRides ![]()
Fingal in Victoria does not have a town sign or any other sign for that matter, hence, is not of real use for documenting the location. Fingal also exists in Tasmania. The assumption is that the song "I've been everywhere man" only lists mainland locations.
| Town | State | Latitude | Longitude | Date/Time visited |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fingal | NSW | -28.12 | 153.34 | 16/01/2010 |
While I was riding along Fingal Road, this corner store called "Fingal Trading Post" appeared on the left hand side. Great! I found my photo location.
